I would like to start by wishing you all a Happy New Year.
The aim of HAYES MUSIC this year is to continue as we did last year, by gradually adding to our existing stock. I am particulary keen to expand our selection of both brass and woodwind mouthpieces. A good instrument helps but without the correct mouthpiece and plenty of practice nobody can produce a good sound.
The repair workshop is busier than ever, everything from waterkey corks to complete overhauls and re-lacquering. Due to the amount of repairs coming into the shop it is planned to allocate another day to the workshop. Therefore until further notice the shop will now be closed on a Monday and a Tuesday each week. As most business is done on a Saturday and Sunday the extra day will allow me to turn round the repairs slightly quicker.
